Ford 5610 electrical issue (help/advice needed)

Ford 5610 has a new battery (functional). When I turn the key there is no gauges that light up, and starter does not activate. The light switch on the tractor also does nothing. When I tried jumping the starter with a screwdriver, it made sparks but didn t crank the tractor. The multimeter shows that the battery has 12V. Anyone have any advice on how to find what s wrong? Everything worked the last time I started it (a few weeks ago)

able to posts connections good?

Have you checked the fuse link at the starter? That is where everything else picks up its power. When you are jumping it over with a
screwdriver, just what terminals are you jumping. It's easy to make a lot of sparks if you don't hit the right spot.

Found the source of the problem. Some wires near the fuses had worn to the wire on the bracket that holds the fuses. As soon as the wires were taken off the metal of the bracket, the tractor had all its
power back but it made the wires hot so we cut some of the damaged wire, soldered new wires and put heat shrink tubing. Everything s back to normal.

Thanks guys!
