Trying to find out what these numbers mean
25 11 75
D4NN4024A
MH
I am thinking that the first set are the manufacturer date but I am at a loss on the others

Where did you get these numbers from
Raised casting numbers don t help much
The tractors build date and model info are hand stamped into the transmission case on a flat area to the rear of the starter
Also found on a foil tag under the hood

D4NN4024A is just the casting code for the rear axle center housing. The D4NN says that it was designed by the tractor division for the tractor division in 1974. They generally used a design for several years.

25 11 75 is most likely the date that it was cast. There should be another date code indicating when the rear axle center housing was assembled, but it should be a single numeral followed by a single letter followed by one or two numerals and possibly ending with an A, B or C after the final numerals.

The d4nn4024 is a rear end casting number. Each major casting on the tractor will have a casting number on it to identify that individual component. For instance a xxnn6015x will be a ford block casting number... with the first two telling the rough date adn D4 means 74 or later as the date the engineers made this casting design, Then NN means ag and industrial use, and the last number telling the exact use/model and casting change.. Then second two letters could put it on a tbird, truck fairlane, or bronco... and tell its a gas or diesel part. But the NN pretty much means ag or industrial design. So,, your pretty much looking at a rearend off a tractor made in 1974 or later...and probably used on an early 4600 tractor and maybe others as well.

Also look on the under side of the right side hood panel, up above the battery for a foil sticker. If that sticker is still there and still legible post back with the numbers that you find thre.
