Ford 860 gen/fan/water pump V belt

Can somebody please tell me the proper dimensions of the aux belt for a 1957 Ford 860, with original 6V generator? Mine needs replacement, but the v-belt on there now is 13/32" wide which seems overly narrow though it did probably work fine for decades. I see references to both 1/2" and 5/8" for this machine, and several different lengths, and clearly the length will change a bit as the width goes up and the belt rides higher in the pulley grooves so I give up.

5/8 wide is the correct size

FORD part number, EAF8577A, Fan Belt, used '54-'64; Width = 33/64, LENGTH = 40. STEINER part number is: ABC191.
