CHEAP pie weights in VA!

40 dollars for 10, 42 lbs. sections on FBM.

Everybody needs a few spares, or a good start to assembling a set on the cheap.

Thats 10.5 cents a pound, you could probably scrap them for more than that.

Do you know the part number, or tractor they came off/tire size? Any mounting hardware come with them? Thanks.

Ford pie weights will fit all Ford tractors built in 48-64 model years and some smaller post 64 models. Yes, some weights will interfere with rails on PA rims if rims not adjusted well inward.

All had 28 tires.

You cannot buy the mounting hardware for anything close to $40.

No, they arent mine, and they were listed as a ''Pending'' sale about an hour after they were first posted a few days ago. Whoever said they wanted them better
go get them before they miss out on this deal! If only they had been a few hundred miles closer, I wouldnt have even posted them here...

I bought 2 incomplete sets here in Michigan last month: 12, 40# weights only for 120.oo, and then another 17 weights (both 30 & 40s), the plates and mounting
studs (+ extra studs) for 200.oo, ending up with a complete set with a few extra weights for 320.oo.

THEN, a fella was here buying some firewood from me and noticed that pile of weights in my garage and asked what they were. He asked because he had some of them
holding down a metal plate over an old well at his place. So for another 1/4 face-cord of wood, I got 5 more 40# weights and I'm almost half way to having
another set of 40# weights.

I then sent 2 of the 30# weights I got from these deals to a friend who needed a pair via the USPS Flat Rate medium box for 17.oo postage. The limit on those
boxes is 70 lbs. and the weights, and a weight-spreading aluminum plate under them so they didnt fall out the bottom, came in at just over 65 lbs. It was a
tight fit, but with plenty of packing tape wound around the box, I got 'er done!

The only problem I encountered was that my Post Office gal refused to carry the box into the mailroom out back so I had to do it for her.
Shes been carrying a baby for about 8 months now, but all of a sudden she cant carry a box for maybe 20 seconds?

I guess its true what they say: ''People just dont want to work''!
