Looking for Jubilee Live PTO parts

I have a Jubilee with the live pto option. I believe there is a piece missing called an accumulator. It appears someone took it out and capped off the opening to its fitting in the clutch. I am trying to find this accumulator, working or not, I dont even care if it works at this point. I have a machinist friend who said he can make me whatever parts I need, he just needs an idea of a pattern and what it is and what it looks like. What generally happens to these units and why would the accumulator be missing? I read in an old post someone thought that it had blown up. Thanks for any help.

Have had three of these units, non of which had the accumilator. All have worked one of which is presently in my NAA. All ways though the
accumilator might be for operating the feathering action of the valve???

Well then that's my second question, will it still operate without the accumulator and with the outlet blocked off going to it if it WERE there? Or does it slam in and out of engagement without the softening or feathering as you put it that I surmise it would provide?

It can be feathered, to a degree, takes an awful steady hand. but it is preaty much off or on.It's a poor second for Ford's double foot
clutch used in the later 100 series tractors.

Yeah,
The accumulator was just a way to feather the flow to the hydraulic clutch pack.
There must be some kind of a modern valve that would do that.
Just don't make it like the inching pedal on a Select O Speed - or the hyd valve on the 65 and newer 4000 pto
Oops
