My year for clutches

This spring I had a clutch issue with my Farmtrac tractor that has the NH 3930 engine, the clutch is for a Ford 3600
We split it 2 weeks ago to find 2 of the pressure plate lever bolts had backed out damaging the threads in the levers
Local clutch shop took care of me replacing the complete assembly and upgrading it to a button disc

While baling hay this year the throw out bearing in the 6610 cab tractor started squalling, the tractor has 5000 hrs but it has seen a lot of clutch work baling and loading 800-1000 rolls of hay for the past 12 years

The plan was to get the 6610 in the shop to split for a clutch job as soon as the holidays are over, but today while working in the poultry barns the pto drive hub and possibly the pto input shaft stripped out on the 4000. Since the 4000 is used for winter hay feeding it ll go in the shop next for clutch replacement and possibly a transmission input shaft
I put a new clutch in that tractor 22 years ago

John,
Bad things come in 3s?
Two things to be glad for.
You won't likely have to replace the clutch
in the 4000 again.
And a 4000 AP is about the easiest Ford
there is to split.

Yea a 4000 is probably the easiest tractors there is to work on

If I get another 22 years out of the next clutch I ll be 89 and will probably have someone else fix it, if someone else hasn t already inherited it

Yea it comes it 3 s but we re on number 6 and trying to use up the bad luck before the new year starts
Don t want the carry it over into the next year
Alternator went out on the skid steer Tuesday
Winds tore over 200 ft of vinyl curtain off the side of one of the poultry barns, replaced it with metal siding yesterday
