Ford 8530 vs TW5

Looking for input between a Ford 8530 and TW5? Both are 4 wheel or MFWD. Both look to be in pretty good shape with low(ish) hours. The TW5 has a couple thousand more hours. I know the TW5 is listed for more hp. Both are priced around $27,000
I have a Ford 8700 2wd but looking to add 4 wheel drive tractor
Thanks

If the 8530 was power shift and less hours for the same money I'd go that way if condition appears about the same and all the
electrics work. 5 minutes will adjust the power output to your liking.

I have a TW-5 and like it, never used a power shift so I don t know what I m missing. My only thought is power shift is a more complex transmission, not much other difference in the two tractors the way I understand it.

The 8530 was NOT a powershift it was a dual power tractor iirc
. The 8630 was the smallest powershift in the line-up. As far as I know there is no difference in an 8530 and a late model TW5 other than the digital dash was an option on the TW and standard on the 30 series.

On second thought I maybe wrong about the digital dash on the 30 series, maybe the 8530 came standard with the analog dash as it was the same as the TW series with different stickers.

Also the TW could be an early model cab which isn't as comfy or quiet as the later models.

No, and perhaps that was my point... if there was 5-10 hp between them, a modest adjustment would make them equal. Without the turbo they're not going to make much more. Just the same, there's all kinds of 268T's out there that run a lot hotter than the N/A 401... and they last just fine doing it.
