How come the tractor pulling the combine and the truck that the combine is dumping into are going in two different directions?

Beside the fact there isn't enough room between the truck and the rear of the tractor it would take some jury-rigging to apply the
unloading belt to tighten from the tractor seat. Who would thing of unloading on the go 60 years ago?

Cool as beans, Sam! Love these old FORD FARMING photos despite being promo pix. I save them to a folder when I see them. Thanks. 1956 was a good year for AMERICA!

Maybe should add that I run one of these combines from 1956 till about 1968 or 69. Ours was a 7 footer with an augur platform. Mostly
remember the fact that my uncle had an AC combine and we went opposite ways around the field.
