I am looking for an fel for my '68 5000 and found a loader that is currently mounted on a 2000. The manufacturer is a company called Amerequip which is still in business but they do not make or support the fel equipment any more. I haven't seen it yet, just pictures and it looks ok. Not knowing too much about mounting fel's and the plumbing required for them I have several questions.
1) If it fits on a 2000 can I be sure that it will fit on a 5000
2) It comes with its own pump that mounts on the front baluster. Is having its own pump a better or worse idea than plumbing it from the tractors pump accessory plate.
3) Even if it comes with its own pump can I plumb it into the tractors pump thru an accessory plate if that is the preferable way to do it, or if the pump has problems
Thanks
Alan
