Hey Friends,
It's been over 6 months since I last posted and I've only posted a couple times a year since moving into town. I still get to use the ol' 971 once in a while, but the old 13.6x28 CaCl filled wheels are near kapoot, rusted through, leaking, etc.
There are some 14.9x28 "waffle" wheels/tires for sale nearby that appear to be in good shape. Is there any market for the old PA centers? If purchased, I would need a wheel center to presumably bolt on the waffle wheels. Would the PA center work (assuming they aren't better salvaged/sold)? It seems the "screw" configuration would not work well w/o "hillbilly" spacers, etc.
Any recommendations on new wheel centers that could be purchased for the "waffle" wheels?
TIA, I've always enjoyed/appreciated this board and the helpful folks.
Chris
