can anyone tell me where I can get a seal for the clutch shaft where it goes into the body of the tractor, part number or size and who has them, also the rear wheel seals. tell me all the parts required to do a complete repair I understand it's a huge job on this model tractor 1974 ford 4000 3 cyl 8 speed Thanks for any help :?:

The clutch shaft shouldn't need a seal, as the shaft goes into the bell housing where the clutch, throw out bearing, etc. live and that entire cavity is supposed to be bone dry. There should be a bushing on the shaft where it goes through the housing, but it is not a seal. If there is fluid leaking there to make you think that it needs a new seal, then there is a bigger problem. Either the rear of the engine or the front of the transmission, or both, is/are leaking into the bell housing, and the weep hole at the bottom, which is supposed to allow any fluids that leak into there to drain out, is clogged.

The rear axle seals and boots for brake rods and orings can be be gotton rite here from the hosts of this site. It takes a good cherry picker to do job. If dont have a big long puller the outer axle bearing
will have to be destroyed to get seal off.

thanks so much for the info I need to really look this over and first search for the weep hole and hope I don't have a major problem
