Heres a 256 just as it came from Ford.
However, it is about 2 years older than a D.

If you can get down to the actual spring seat, check the installed height and see if its in the ballpark. Other than that I think youre gonna have to see how long the shop will stand behind it, and what will they cover if it drops a valve a year from now.
