D2NL-6015A Enginer swap to NAA??

I found today what appears to be a Ford tractor (industrial?) motor mounted to an old Sullair mobile air compressor. Engine has provisions for hyd pump and appears to have a mechanical fuel pump. Does anybody know if this engine/block will swap out to a NAA/Jubilee tractor? From what I have found out this may be a 172cu inch motor made possibly around 1972. Pretty certain it will interchange with 2000 series, and possibly 600 series. Not sue about NAA/Jubilee. Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated.

D2NL at the beginning of the casting code says that the casting was designed in 1972 by the industrial engine division for the tractor division, so it was most likely used in Ford implements, and probably sold to other companies for their use as well.

A Google search does return many hits claiming that casting number is a 172 ci 4 cylinder engine. So it should bolt right into any 1953-1964 4 cylinder tractor, including an NAA. If you do put it into an NAA, be sparing when exerting power to the ground, as the NAA's rear axle can be damaged before that engine bogs down. Even a 4 cylinder 600/601/2000 series rear axle was not designed for that much power. The 172 ci engine was used in the 800/801/4000 series tractors, all of which had a stronger rear axle designed to handle the power of the 172 ci engine.
 
Yes it should bolt up to the NAA. My opinion is by the time you acquire this engine, rebuild it, and buy the missing parts, you could purchase a good running 800/801 series complete tractor.
 
I would take the plug out of the oil pan before closing the deal. I dont like all those upward facing holes for rain to get in. The water pump is different... you will need to find a industrial water pump when the time comes, or change the crankshaft and generator pulleys to run the much more common NAA pump.
