3000 Serial Number Question

Tried to figure out the year on my new to me 3000 diesel. I found 3 separate numbers - closest to the center of the tractor is 6D200, then D256, then 33-110. I didn't have a chance to clean them up real well with the time I had.

From a bit of looking around a 3000 should have a C, not a D. The 4000 series has the D.

Any help would be appreciated.

None of those numbers is a model number, Unit Number or Serial Number. Sometimes odd numbers were stamped on the flat spot when the transmission was replaced. Check on te under side of the right side hood panel, up above the battery to see if it has a foil sticker, which would have those numbers plus a few more. If there's no foil sticker, or it is illegible, post some pictures of the tractor from the front, rear and both sides, and we can probably figure out what it is.

I think it might be one made in Basildon England. D256 is probably a date code April 25 1966 (Month, day, year - different order than in the US). 6D200 makes sense as a date code too if the last 0 is really a C. 1966 April 20 afternoon shift.

Most likely an Antwerp unit and the complete serial number reads A 133-110. Some gathered numbers below shows that it would fit the date code D256. One month's production of 2032 units sounds right.
