Hi Guys,
I have the opportunity to get two non-running Ford tractors. One is a 960 and the other is a 961.
The fellow who owns them moved onto much larger equipment several years ago and parked the smaller tractors in a lean to shed. His cattle got into the shed and pulled all of the spark plug wires from both distributors and the tractors were then moved outside.
Both tractors were "running good" before the cows attempted to tune them up, but haven t run for several years.
The 960 is a narrow front, with good rear tires and the 961 is a wide front with pretty weathered rear tires.
If I was to use the best parts from both tractors and restore one of them, is one more desirable than the other?
What would be a reasonable offer to make for both? They are in southeast Idaho.
Thanks for any suggestions,
Myron
