801 clutch linkage

My 801 5 speed sat for 15 years in a fence row. It now runs & the pto & hydraulics work, but I can't push the clutch. The pedal is loose & I think the shaft is free, so it must be stuck somewhere inside. Any ideas or is a split the only path?
Thanks!

Wander if the throw out bearing housing isn't rusted to the transmission input support. Have you used your full body weight on the clutch pedal? Maybe a little jarring motion, not real hard!! Take
the little plate off of the bottom of the transmission case and squirt PB Blaster at the situation. If all else fails, I split is in order. Good luck!!

Thanks Wayne! I've never been in a 5 speed before, & didn't know there was an inspection plate! Will check it out tomorrow.

Wayne, I took that plate off, but you sure can't see much! I could see the fork moving a little, so it probably is a stuck throw out. Squirted a bunch of PBBlaster around & will probably do the same a few times before doing any splitting.

I had a 6600 a few years ago that had a clutch stuck so bad it took a crow bar to pry it apart. It was evendifficult to split cuz the input shaft spline was rusted so bad. It took pry bars from both sides to even pull it apart. I took a few pics of this pita clutch job.
