5610 auxiliary remote

Hi everyone, I have a 1985 5610, no remotes installed? Found a used front end loader, now I need to figure out how to plumb in hydraulics for 2 remotes. Anyone out there knows how to do that?

Does the loader have a control valve with levers or just the lines
If it has a control valve I d get a HV5902 hydraulic adapter and plumb the loader to that

(quoted from post at 00:09:54 11/11/22) I'm fairly certain that manifold is not compatible with the 4-cylinder 10 series tractors.

If that s not the correct one tell him which one is

Looking at the parts drawing, that model does have a blocking plate that looks similar to the earlier ones where the HV5902 would work, but all of the remote valves are external with lines connecting to the side of the main hydraulic top plate, so Bern is probably correct, and I don't think there is an equivalent to the HV5902 adapter plate that will work on that model.

I saw that in the parts book as well but the OP s tractor doesn t have any remotes which uses a different top plate
The photo I posted is from a post on this subject in the restoration section

I'm simply going off memory here, but I thought I read somewhere that the usual tapping manifold will not
work on the 4-cylinder series 10 tractors. I believe I read that in the instructions straight from Ford.

I see the pic you included, and it looks like it physically fits, however that doesn't mean it's working
correctly. There are unique passages on those 10 series tractors to allow the priority valve to function
properly. That's not simply a block-off plate on the top.

Finally, it's also my understanding that all 4-cylinder series 10 tractors came from the factory with at
least one remote valve. And I can honestly say that's been my visual observation.

BIL has a 5610 with a hv5902 on it.. but it has the priority valve above that. By tapping below the closed center priority valve, you must use an open center control to return the flow to the priority pack. Since you have a dummy plate that just returns the fluid, it should still work with an open center to return to the 3 pt lift system.
