641 and 3400

The blank plate that goes in place of the remote
valve .... will one from a 641 work on an early
3400? It appears to be able to bolt on, but will the
porting be correct?

Yes they are an exact swap. From 1955 till at least the early 1980s.

Thank you. Fell into a good deal... carpenter friend with large garden didnt like the clutter, they wrapped the unused remote lines around the foot rest when he bought the tractor...my 641 will be so nice with a remote!

Put a hydraulic top link on it.
I have had one I made out of a used hyd cylinder for a dozen years now.
I use mine a LOT and would cry if I ever had to go back to using a screw type top link.

X2 on that! My 2 favorite implements for one are the boom pole & the box blade.

The plan is to be able to use a deluxe York rake with power angle. Equipped with scarifier and swing-down grader blade. Have seen those top link cylinders, what are they used for?

Per my "2 implements" - Increases the range of lift for the boom pole. On the box blade you control digging or moving dirt w/the top link length, so you do a lot of re-adjusting.
