7740 hydraulic question

A 7740 may be too new to this forum, but I have a fairly simple question. I found one for sale and it has one of the remote levers held back with a bungee cord. On the right console, it's the lever furthest back on the outside (not that that makes any difference).
It's the right size tractor for me and I've only heard good things about the reliability of these tractors.
Why would you need to tie back a remote lever? I should add that the tractor has a loader on it with a joystick control box. Could the remote lever being held back with the bungee cord feed the joystick controller?
Thanks for any input.

As you concluded, the bungee cord is used with the loader. If it wasn't there, the handle would always be
popping back into neutral every time a cylinder on the loader bottomed out. You can adjust the detent on the
remote valve to override the need for the bungee cord, however that's not recommended because if the loader
is removed and you forget to manually center the lever, the system will always operate at high pressure,
which is not a good thing.
