M-S carb ID

Anybody know what model tractor this carburetor was originally on? There's no ID tag. Looks like it never had a tag.

Thanks.

Those numbers mean relatively nothing -simply manufacturing codes when in production. What is the diameter of the choke port? What is the hole spread (center to center) of the two mounting studs? Is there a TSX number in cast recess on the lower half ping-pong paddle boss? The upper half with the MARVEL-SCHEBLER logo in cast recess looks like an early TSX 33 or TSX 241...but only spitballin' here. I need more detailed pictures of the INSIDE and OUTSIDE of carb and any parts that came off of it. Email if you want...

The TSX series were basically in three sizes according to bowl and flange dimensions and either fixed or two styles of main jet adjustments. The
differences were in the internal parts. Jets, venturis and nozzles. Yours looks like the small size and the tag would be opposite the choke lever,
under your finger in the second pic.

Looking at your first three pictures, it appears that your linkages
come out the right side when viewed from the top and the gas
inlet is on the left side, not the right side or the rear end.
It also has ball end linkage.

Of the most common carbs, that would make me believe it is for
an N series Ford.

Fergusons and later model Ford carbs were mounted on the
opposite side of the engine so the linkages were reversed.
Ferguson also didn't use the ball end linkage.

Long story short: When I bought my 8N (I think it's a 1949) it had a Chinese aftermarket carburetor on it. A short while later, I asked the seller if he still had the carburetor he removed. This is what he gave me. Before spending any more time or money on it, I wanted to know if it is the correct carburetor.

I pretty much figured the numbers on the carburetor were useless but that's all there is. There is no TSX number.

The carburetor is the smallest version of the M-S, as it should be for an 8N.
