Early 600 transmission swap into NAA. Will it work?

I have an NAA with bad transmission and housing.
Can i use the transmission and housing from a 640 to swap out?

I see there are some visual differences to the housings but they appear to have the same bolt pattern and the same on the inside to me.

the 600 (or 640) is NCA7006B case
the NAA is NAA7006B case
Id appreciate any help or information. This is just a grass cutter but im OCD about the grass being cut...lol.

Bolt pattern to the engine is same. Bolt pattern to the rear housing will not work. I think you can swap the gears from one
to the other and use the PTO shift sleeve and rear bearing housing. I once put all the gears from an 8N into a 641 but kept
the 641 input shaft. I had to use the 8N PTO parts.

Problem is the shaft twisted off on the coupler and gears are seized so they can't be removed from housing without destroying the housing. Out of curiosity where is the differance in the bolt pattern? I measured the gap on top bolts and one side and got the same. I see where the hydraulic tubes run in the gasket set. Just Wondering is it something that could be overcome with a permatex? Or do the actual bolts in fact not line up?
I don't mean to be an idiot about it...
Tractors are just a new thing to me.
And if not...well I'll have to move the engine from the NAA to the 600 and that leads to a whole other issue of swapping tires. If possible.

Even if the bolt patterns are the same on
both ends, you will lose the 3 point
function. (Unless you fabricate some kind
of custom hydraulic lines)
Swapping the engine into the 600 will
work, and is straight forward. Same with
swapping the tires.

I initially had measured the left side of the case ... Well it's the same but the other side the bolt pattern is off (4 bolts vs 3) so it wont bolt up. Andvibalso found that the 600 differential case is about an inch longer. I did get the 600 running and it's my grass cutter now. I'll swap the tires. ....i suppose good news is I now have a spare engine. 😃

Won't bolt to NAA rear. If you use the 600 rear you'll be good to go. You will also need the manifold for the hydraulic pump.
