Neighbor was using my Ford 6000 for planting beans and the tractor just quit moving, no noise or nothing he said. We pulled it back to my yard and there is nothing going on, no change in engine speed when shifting and also no pto movement. I have a hunch that the input shaft on the transmission stripped out. I am not sure if I want to fix the tractor. I always wanted to have one but it sure is a money pit. I have a extra transmission with a good shaft. I just don't know if it's worth all the work to get it going.
Now he is using my new LS MT342 with 18 hours on it. Makes me really nervous.
