4000 loader question

My son has a chance to buy a loader advertised to fit a "Ford New Holland 5000, 5600, 6600, 5610, 6610, etc." Will the brackets also work on his 3 cyl gas wide front 4000 row crop?
Thanks!

Depends on the brand of the loader, some have adjustable brackets and some don't.
4000 row crop has a different front axle bolster from other Ford models, my Farmhand 22 loaders front bracket would bolt to the front of a 4200's bolster, but my Allied's brackets bolt to the side of the bolster and would not fit a 4200 bolster.

Personally I wouldn't put a loader on a 4200, they are getting quite rare and it's light weight axle design along with it's tall spindles are not what I consider loader friendly.

Thanks for the response! This is a Westendorf & is advertised as having adjustable brackets.
I don't think he intends to use it too heavily, as it will only be on his small acreage.
