Rebuilt 3cyl diesel oil consumption

Im down 1/2 quart or so after 10 hours of mowing and tilling. Trying to gauge if this is normal consumption since its my first 201 rebuild. I dont have any excessive smoke or leaking on the tractor.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions until you get more time on it. Make sure you don't baby it, take steps to work it hard whenever you can.

Some oil consumption after a fresh rebuilt is to be expected
As Bern said dont baby it, it needs to be worked, if you dont have any work for it keep the rpms up and dont let it idle

What oil is in it? Did you change the oil after startup? When I rebuild auto engines after initial startup and break in I change the oil and filter and inspect them. Gets all of the break in metal out.
