Ford 801 Vertical Exhaust

Hello. I have a Ford 801 gas tractor that I would like to run a vertical exhaust on without having to cut a hole in the hood. Is there a different type elbow I can buy to run a vertical upright exhaust pipe?
Thanks
Scotty

Vertical was pretty much how most where so I bet if you look in this site they will have what you need to do so. My 841S has vertical and as far as I know it was factory that way

Hundred series and 01 series tractors had the option of having the exhaust vertical or horizontal out the back. If you look a exhaust parts on some of the popular sites, external_link, nnalert, tractorpartsasap, or maybe even this site. Should show the parts needed for the vertical exhaust. My dad has a 641 and a 62 4000 both with the vertical exhaust. The 4000 has the muffler above the hood.

The parts book shows the vertical exhaust for diesel engines 58 forward. However works fine on gas models, that's what my 57 840 has.

This site should have the parts. It's basically a different elbow that attachs to the end of the horizontal muffler. No hole in the hood is needed.

I switched mine from vertical to horizontal; too many low tree branches around here. Plus I don't have to worry about rain coming down the exhaust pipe.
