Hello John, welcome to YT! You will find lots of help here. I have ordered parts for my 4000, 5000 and 7600 off this site. If you go
to the top of the page and select Ford, a chart will drop down and then you can select your model number. From there you will scroll
down to steering parts and find what you're looking for. If it's just a tie rod end it will be helpful to know the diameter of the
threaded portion and the length as there are a couple options. Check back if you can't find what you're looking for.

Does it have the earlier power steering setup with the cylinder under the nose of the tractor, or the later style with the cylinder integrated inside the steering column? The tie rod is a different part number for each of them.

Hi Sean, Thanks for your reply, The tractor is located at my property 90 miles away, so I cannot answer your question regarding the location of cylinder.

I was able to upload pics through my original posting. I would like to replace all the ball joints, both left and right side.

Tractor is not nearby so I am unable to verify location of cylinder,
I have uploaded pics to the original post, I would like to replace both the left and right side outer ball joints, and possibly the two inner ball joints as well. I am not sure which part number(s) to order, any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It looks like the outer rod ends that include the ball joints are the same part numbers for both the early and late style steering setup. The right side rod end is part number C7NN3280E, and the left side is C7NN3281A.

Thanks Sean, I have one more question, Is B884477 the serial number? I have not found any numbers stamped on block or bell housing beginning with a C. If so could you tell me what year is my 5000?
Thank you
John

B884477 does look like a serial number. The B at the beginning means that it was assembled at the plant in Basildon in the UK. The fact that it is higher than B8000000 means that it was a "domestic" model tractor that made to be sold into the UK tractor. The Basildon tractors had two separate serial number ranges, from B000001 up to B7999999 were made for export outside of the UK, and serial numbers above B8000000 were made for sale domestically. The European serial numbers were not documented as well as the "C" serial numbers from the US, but my guess on B884477 would be a 1969 tractor. What are the other numbers near where you found the B884477 stamped into the bell housing? One of those should be the Unit Number, which will tell us the exact date that it rolled off of the assembly line.

Thank you for your reply regarding the date of my tractor, I have uploaded to my original post a pic of the serial number with other numbers, I really appreciate your help.
John
