The hydraulic lift rocker arms are very hard to get down. I have been trying penetrating oil for months and not getting anywhere with them. This is on a 6000 Ford.
I have a parts 6000 tractor that have the lift still on it and the lift arms work up and down very easy. Anybody know how hard would it be to swap the complete hydraulic lift system from one tractor to the other? I know it would be heavy but I have equipment to lift them.

Swapping the lifts is not hard, you just need suitable lifting equipment because that assembly is quite heavy. It's basically a matter of a bunch of big bolts and a couple of oil lines.

I had to deal with mine a couple of months ago. Unfortunately my donor tractor had arms that were every bit as stiff as my original tractor, so I had to go in and free it up. It was a bit of a fight, but I prevailed in the end. I put zerks in so I can now keep it greased. Link below.
