Power Steering Conversion

Has anyone replaced the power assist on their 5000/5600 with the power steering conversion kit by Farmland Tractor Supply? I am considering do so for my '74 5000 2wd (no loader) but am looking for opinions first. My original steering gear is badly worn from ball bearing falling out and leaks.

I have no personal experience with it, but it looks good in theory to me.

Thanks for the reply Bern. Since Im looking at replacing the column at this point, I think now might be a good opportunity to go full PS. Any reasons to stick with original style other than appearance??

If your original box is as messed up as you claim, then I can see no reason to keep it unless by chance you plan to do a full restoration of this tractor someday.
