points on 515

Trying to access the points on a 515 industrial gas motor. One of the 3 cyl models. Talk about a tight space! Has a loader on it, too. There is a round plate below the rotor, and for the life of me, I cannot remove it. I've never seen one that won't just lift off. Is there a screw or something that I'm overlooking? Any experience with changing the points in such a tight space? thanks for any consideration

The dust covers can get hard to remove if they haven't been removed in a long time. Some times one needs to take a hard plastic stick or some such and get under it and tap o the stick to pop them up
