860 Pro shift handle leak

Can the plate with the Pto handle be removed without much trouble. Got a bad leak around handle shaft

Title is suppose to be PTO not Pro.

Six nuts unless someone has used bolts. May need to catch some oil. Just pulls out, pin may be fun to get out. Uses -111 oring.

Thank you sir. Never had one out. Just wanted to make sure nothing would fall out of place. Don't like surprises.

Bad leak around handle shaft indicates that the fluid is probably filled too high. It should only be a little above the bottom of the round plate itself, which is why Shaun said that you may need to catch some oil. If it is filled up to the handle shaft then you will need to catch considerably more oil when you pull the plate.

Remove the shifter cover from the housing than remove the handle from the shaft by removing the rivet. There is an o'ring in the shaft sealing the shaft to the cover.
