5000 diesel Little big for my operation now. Also have 861 diesel. Like to have 6X 5200 diesel SOS. But have no place to use.

It depends on the job I'm doing.
My 4600 gets thr most hours. TW35 sounds
the best, and is the most comfortable.
Jubilee will probably be the last one
I'll part with.

While I really like my 6000, I'd take a Genesis tractor any day of the week. Absolutely no comparison between them and the earlier TW series. They were a Deere slayer when they first came out.

Had a few still got a few. Easily for all around use the diesel 5000 wins. First Ford I ever used and will probably be the last.

Having owned my 69 4000 for over 30 years its been my main work horse and go to tractor for a long time
As my equipment has grown (baler, mower, brush hog) I find myself spending more time in the 6610 series II, the cab with AC makes hot summer days more comfortable

My favorite, and it will be the last to go is my 960. The one that my neighbor had when I was a kid made a huge impression on me at the time. I got a lot of enjoyment from my 9000 as a puller for 17 years before I sent it down the road. It seemed to look like it was sitting ready to leap ahead. Though I never had one I admire the 5000 it seems to endure as an everyday worker for many more years than most tractors do. I never should have bought my 8240.

That's a tough one! My rebuilt Jube will probably be the last to go because I have so many hours in it:

But the 2110LCG is the easiest mounting & driving, so gets used the most:

I have 3 diesels, 2600, 5000, and 7600. I also think "favorite" is application dependent, but like others I think the 5000 is my favorite, although the 2600 is a sweet little tractor and might be favored because its the only one I have not had to do major repair or paint (!). The 7600 is the newest and I couldn't chisel plow without it, I like the turbo.

(quoted from post at 22:35:14 05/04/22) so far... would be my 7710 II...Would like to try a 7740sl though or a ts100.
7740s are great tractors. We had an SLE two wheel drive one but just wasnt big enough for our six row planter on our goat hills we farm. However we were a little weary because you could whip that thing around in no time.

I have owned all diesels 801 4600 6600 9600 tw10 tw 15 and I still have a 7710II retired My favorite was the 4600 and the worst the 9600

960 is the first tractor I drove by myself, dad bought it at farm sale unloaded it in road ditch and I got to drive it up into the yard while he drove the truck up. I still have it.

TW20 is the first tractor I bought, well used, its served me well for 20+ years, still have it.

Got a 5200 a decade or so ago, about the handiest size for my farm, hay making, etc.

The 7700 dad bought when I got out of high school, dad had some health issues and hardly ever drove that tractor, it was the main tractor until I got the TW20. Hard
working machine.

I got a NH 1720, such a nimble helpful little thing, my Swiss Army knife of a tractor.

You want me to pick one??????

:)

No such beast as a "980 diesel" or a "970 gas". They didn't introduce the S-O-S transmission or the diesel engine until the '01 series came out.
