Question attaching One Arm Loader

Hi, I am finally getting around to attaching a 1-arm loader to my 861 tractor.
But I can't seem to get it to fit right. I can get the front pin of the loader into the hole in the front foot plate, but I can't get the loader to attach fully to the side bracket. It is as if I need to move the front of the loader to the right in order to get the side bracket to lay flat against the box on the loader where it attaches. But the foot brackets prevents that, so I can't get the pin into the side bracket. I don't know what the problem exactly is as I think the brackets are ok. The loader doesn't look bent, though the foot pin that goes into the front plate is angled, not straight. Unless anyone has ideas of what is wrong or I'm doing something wrong, the only other thing I think can do is fabricate a new foot bracket and reposition the front bracket pin hole so its closer to the centerline of the tractor. I'm not sure that would even be enough as I only have about an inch before the hole would reach the front axle support, unless I also lower the hole maybe an inch.

Attach the front first, then the side tranny bracket and the bottom bracket last. You can push on the top of the frame inward to tip it in towards the tractor some.
The loader may be sitting uneven from the tractor depending on what the ground it sits on. I have a 6' pipe nearby that I push sideways on the bucket to help. Mine sits on dirt unfortunately.

Looks like the side bracket has been rewelded and not put back in the right position .That doesn't look like a factory weld.

Thanks for the replies. I was wondering about that attachment point with the weld the way it looks. Ah well, so much for that. Have to decide whether to make a new front plate to try to accommodate the side bracket, or cut and reweld that box which is also shorter than it should be. Maybe I could find another 1-arm loader without the brackets for cheap.

Where are you located?
I'm pretty sure I still have the main frame
from a 1 arm up at my property that has a 5
1/2 box on it.
I could get it home to the Twin Cities here
sometime in late May.
Free if you come and get it.

Ultradog, thanks very much for the offer. I am in NJ. You're a little out of range (18 hrs) unless I were out that way to also pick something else up or have shipped.

I think that's always the case - everything
I want is usually on the other side of the
world though I did recently have a machine
shipped here from southern Calif.
Maybe get ahold of member Curt NJ (Kurt
NJ?)
He has a lot of the 4 cylinder Ford stuff
and may have one.

From what I can tell from your photo it appears you have a short box frame for the later square nose series and the standard bracket for the round nose series. They did make an offset bracket to attach the
short box to the round nose series. I have a couple but don't have any for sale cause a have a couple of short box loader. I have short and long box and offset brackets if you want to come over and take
some measurements.
