ford for sale

There is a Ford for sale near me. Ad says it is an 8n, but it clearly has NAA sheetmetal. He says the hydraulics don't work. Are the hydraulics and 3pt operated by the same pump? The guy who I am scouting the tractor for needs 3pt, but doesn't need a hydraulic's for his purposes. Thanks all.

Hyds on a NAA are the 3 point and if it has an aux valve it is still the same pump as the 3 point uses

Thanks. I thought that was how it worked, but it has been a long time since I have been around an NAA

If it is a NAA with a vein pump are those parts NLA. I see where you can replace them with a new pump of different design.

I have not looked at the tractor yet, but I did see some better pictures...it has the 2 holes in the lift arm so it must be a 600, with the newer style pump. Tractor is rough, rear tires are very poor and they hydraulics don't work. I am advising him to wait for something better.

Good idea
