1938 John Deere Unstyled G

Ford 2000; 3 cyl. diesel; 4x2 trans....I'm getting ready to sell my Ford 2000, 3 cyl. gasser and was looking on Facebook Marketplace to see what tractors are going for. Saw an ad for a 1938 John Deere Unstyled G and I've seen that 'unstyled' reference in various posts here. What does that mean? Styled vs. unstyled? I suspect some of you Ford guys know. Thanks.

its basically all tractors before 1940 had the rad out out in the open with little sheet metal. john deere calls these unstyled. mccormick
is the same way but not called unstyled. in around 1940 these tractors got covered in fancy sheet metal designed by a guy called henry dreyfuss who
designed it. rads were enclosed with a grill and fancier tin on the tractors. that is where styled comes from.
