Can someone please help me with identifying if this is a screw or a plug that is leaking out hyd oil in the photo? I was shredding for a few hours and looked down and fluid was leaking out. I didn't feel any threading in the hole, it was smooth. That parts guys didn't have a clue.

Thanks for the response Majorman... Is it just called a "Dowel"? Where can I find it and I'm assuming it's metal?

Do not have a picture of your 4000 but here is one of a similar pump showing the
dowel in position. they are used to securly locate the pump and there are two,
usually 180 degrees apart.

It may be difficult to find as it is not a wearing part, in fact I have worked with
those tractors since they came out and never had to replace one. You may find one in
a breakers easier than from a dealer.

Missed out that the oil is not under any pressure, just splashing about or above the level of the hole. A simple plug of wood or similar will stop the leak until you can find the correct item.
