When I delete the regulator will I need to pick up a terminal block? New at the Ford's done a Farmall Super A set up was different.

Thanks for the help

Does it already have a terminal block?

Remove generator and regulator and the armature and field wires between them. Connect Battery wire from regulator to output of alternator.

If you have a charge indicator light get a 3 wire, not a 1 wire alternator. On Delco internal regulated alternator, original BAT/charge wire from old regulator to alternator output. Loop #2 pin on edge plug down to output post, connect wire from charge light to #1 pin on alternator.

If you use 1 wire alternator you will lose function of charge light.

I would also replace original charge wire from output to connection with battery cable at starter solenoid with a 10 gauge wire and replace any other wiring/parts that may be worn or damaged

The guy I got the tractor from said they started the 12 volt conversion but never got around to finishing it. From what I can see there's no terminal block everything is still running thru the regulator. The charging light has been eliminated. Everything on the dash has been disconnected the only thing that works is the oil pressure gauge.
