Ford 601 workmaster issues

Howdy all, I have an issue with my ford 601 workmaster.
I have replaced the coil, condenser, and points. It will run for around 30 mins then it will start to choke then die. Anyone ran into this issue? The crazy thing I ran it yesterday (I have a long drive way) up and down the drive way both times going up backwards. Then drove up the drive way forwards and then that's when it did it again. Died let it set between 10 and 15 mins it starts. Could there be sediment clogging the filter in the tank on the shutoff?

Put the old condenser back in now days it is very common to have a new one bad right out of the box

I will surely try that here in just a bit. I know when I took the other one out it had a small hole in the side of it. Not sure if that is an issue or not. Bit will try putting the old one on for sure. Thank you Old.

Some models of tractors also have a strainer on the carburetor inlet.

I had a similar issue with my Ford 640 some years back. After fiddling with it for months I decided to replace the coil. When I tried to
disconnect the wire into the coil, it broke. Apparently, the stranded wire going into the coil had frayed and only one or two strands of
corroded wire remained. This must have been enough to run the tractor for a short period of time, but the heat generated by the resistance must
have broken the circuit after about half an hour. You can have this problem with any wire (or the ignition switch) in the ignition circuit.

I replaced the new condenser with the old one, and also cleaned the carburetor. I adjust the mixture screws. After doing all that it seemed to run alright. No issues. The main issue I was having it would normally spit and sputter after about 20- 30 mins, but this time it didn't. I will try it more tomorrow and let you all know. Thanks for all the helpful input much appreciated.

I can't really say. I know for certain it has never been changed I know that. I just figured with all the research I did many pointed to that being problem, and since I was going to change that thought I would do the condenser and the points as well.

One of the quickest, easiest and lowest costs tests is fuel flow. Not for presence of gas but FLOW. You shut the gas off, remove the plug in the bottom of the carburetor float chamber, and get a container that you can hold under the drain hole. Then open the fuel shut-off, and time two minutes. You should get a pint. if it flows good for a little bit then slows to a drip, you have your problem. Just a few minutes no cost.

Thank you! I will surely do that and let you know what I find out. I appreciate it.
