I have the lift cover off my '74 Ford 5000 to replace the lift cross shaft bushings. While this cover is off, what else should be looked at and/or replaced/rebuilt for good measure before reassembling? Tractor has a lot of hours and I dont know when the last time this cover was off.

Id put a new o-ring on the lift piston and make sure all of the linkage adjustments are correct

I'd clean the suction screen and replace the return hydraulic filter.
