Picked up this little back half. What is it?

It's blue and from the bell housing back to lugnuts. Super heavy, has the inboard wet brakes and outer planetary reduction gears.

The numbers on the bell housing are as follows:

5K02B
CB70K07

BS414C
5K29B
C750562

Wondering if it's worth saving as replacement parts for some of my other Fords.

Thanks for any help in identifying this extremely heavy rear half.

Too Many Tractors Tom

BS414C is the model:
BS4 - model 2810
1 - diesel engine
4 - independent 540- rpm PTO
C - 8 speed transmission

5K29B is the Unit Number, which is a date code for when the tractor was assembled. In this case it was October 29 1985 during the day shift

C750562 is the serial number. Tractordata claims that it is an early 1986 serial number,m but I would believe the Unit number before I would believe tractordata on a serial number year.

5K02B This looks like the date code for when the transmission was assembled, which was October 2 1985 during the day shift.

CB70K07 - This is probably some code for the transmission itself that only means something to the Ford engineers.

It's not a 2000 series tractor. It's a xx10 series. The 3 cylinder 2000 series was only made from 1965-1975. After that they had the x600 series (2600/3600/4600, etc.) from 1975-1983 or so, then the xx10 series. The 2810 was one of the models in the xx10 series. It had a 158 ci 3 cylinder engine and the radius rod front axle like the 2000 and 2600 before it, but it had the double reduction rear axle with the inboard wet brakes like the earlier 3 cylinder 4000 and 4600 series. It was like an underpowered 4610 SU.

AHA! I have an SU. So I'll save it then. Thanks Sean.
