3930 Steering Problem

I have a 1993 3930 that I am having steering problems with. Steering wheel turns but has a lot of play in it. Can turn steering wheel and takes several turns to start turning. Need advice on where to start. Has the hydrostatic steering.

Is the pump reservoir full of oil, if so I'd look at repacking the steering cylinder first, the orbital motor doesn't give much trouble

Yes reservoir is full. In repacking the steering cylinder is it at bottom of steering wheel shaft? Thanks

No, 3930 has hydrostatic steering that uses a orbital motor under the steering wheel and a hydraulic cylinder at the front axle
On the tractors I have with that style steering the seals on the piston inside the cylinder have needed replaced
Installing a seal kit has fixed mine
