NH 8670 Code Questions

Working on this 8670. I have 5 codes that come up. They are F027, F205, F342, F388, and F392. I know what all the codes mean. My first question is concerning the F388 and F392. There are 2 spin on filters that
I plan on replacing soon as I get them. In the operators manual, there is a suction screen that has to be cleaned. Do you think this filter is causing the F388 and F392?
The second question is the hitch sensor plug replacement. The female plug has black, yellow, and blue. Yellow is in the middle. The male plug has yellow, blue, and black. There is no male plug, hence the
reason for replacing it. Im guessing the yellows match and the blacks? Would the blue go to brown? Thanks for any and all help.

On my pot, A is brown, B is black, and C is yellow, just as shown in the wiring diagram. I'm not sure what you have going on with your rig. Are there any numbers on the wires, such as RM71, or RM57, or RM 64? If not, me thinks someone has messed with that wiring in the past.

F392 does in fact mean plugged filter, so I'd start with filter changes and screen cleaning before you do anything else.

Sorry Bern, I got the colors of the female plug wrong. They are black, yellow, and brown. Sorry for that. The wire coming from the sensor has black, yellow, and blue.

OK, I'm confused here. You keep talking about two plugs, a male and a female, and yet there should only be one plug, a male connector with female contacts, which plugs into the sensor itself, just like the pic of the one I sent to you a few days ago. The sensor has a receptacle molded into the body itself, there are no exposed wires. Can you send a pic or two of what you're dealing with please?

Your sensor and plug should look like the one shown at the link below.
Sensor

Bern, we are talking about two different sensors. Never having worked on one of these tractors puts me at a disadvantage. Please accept my apologies. The sensors I am referring to go in the lower lift arms. The pin and sensor look like are made as one. I found the sensor you are talking about.
I have never learned how to transfer a photo from my phone to the computer to post.

I figured it was the 3-point pot you were working on because of code F027. That, and you said earlier that is was the hitch position sensor.

Anyways, yes, I can see why NH would want $900 for that lower lift arm sensor. It is a hollow pin with a circuit board in the inside of it. It detects the pin flexing. I have one at the shop. I'll see if I can dig it out tomorrow and take a look at the plug on it.

Also, the tach isn't working. We unplugged the sensor, cleaned the plugs, but still no rpms. I'm guessing that sensor is bad. It looks like a lot of things read off the tach. Am I correct on this? Thanks for all your help!

This is our plan so far on this tractor repair. Since we rebuilt the master cylinder and still have no brakes, we will be taking the axle housings off to fix the brakes. When we clean the suction filter, that may tell us more about the brakes and what shape the hydraulics are in. Since the tactor will be painted, the rear wheels will have to be removed anyway.

The connector on the end of the draft pin connector is very much sealed and is not designed to come apart, therefore I cannot tell the colors of the wires inside. The diagram below is about the best I can do for you - it would be the harness side of the connector.
