8670 Brake Trouble

8670 has no brakes. the pedals go to the floor. We started with the simple fix. Rebuilt the master cylinder. Bled the brakes. All the air got out of the system, good pedal, and then the pedal goes to the
floor. rebleed, air in system, good pedal for a while and then pedal goes to the floor. Are we looking at bad brake seals in the axle housings? Please tell me no! Thanks

I didn't answer this post yesterday because I didn't want to tell you what you did not want to hear. However, I do believe that you have already answered your own question. Unfortunately, all Ford 6-cylinder tractors since the 8000 series have been prone to brake seal failure.

Thanks Bern. Stay tuned for other developments on this tractor, I have 5 codes that we need to solve. However, I do have a repair and owner's manual
