I bought a temp gauge unit and the new part from the YTMAG website and it doesn't seem to work.
The smaller threaded part of the two piece fitting would fit into the head, but it appears the large boss is to thread into the head before the small fitting threads into that part for a leak proof seal.
Any experience or work around here? Did some cylinder heads accept that large fitting? The old one I removed must have been a different design?? I have a photo here of the old and the new. The temp bulb seems ok but if the fittings would thread into the head then I assume this just won't work.
