Leak around PTO Handle

Hello, I have a leak around the cover that goes where the
PTO handle engages. Is that a gasket around that plate?
Is it hard to remove?

It's always helpful to include the model of tractor you are asking about. In searching for your previous posts, it appears that you have a 3000. That round plate where the PTO handle is located does have a gasket behind it. The gasket was originally part number C5NNN722B, which has been superseded by part number 81818209. You should be able to get it from any New Holland dealer.

You are right, I did not include my Tractor. 1973 Ford
3000 Diesel. And thank you very much!

There's also an O-ring on the shaft. My 2000 leaks there too even after I made a gasket and replaced the O-ring. Just haven't taken the time to drain it and check.
