NAA Radiator history ?

I dug out the radiator and spent a few intimate hours cleaning. It's in pretty good shape with only one small tube solder repair. Still need to get it pressure tested.

If you've pressure tested, what is max pressure you put in it ?

Just wondering if anyone recognizes these numbers and what they mean ?

You shouldn't need to test it much above 10 psi. The original radiator cap was only rated at 4 psi. Some aftermarket radiator caps were, I believe, 6 or 7 psi, but I've never heard of one for an NAA higher than that.

The NAAB 3 4 2 number is on the LH engine side of the steel shell surrounding the radiator toward the top.

The DGMD 6 tag is on the aft side toward the bottom of the top tank. There is also DGMD stamped into the top tank just under the over flow tube.

I'm just curious about the Rad. Wonder if it's origiinal. Looking through the fill neck, the tubes appear very clean.

Ive looked all over my NAA radiator and found no tags or numbers. The tractor is being restored so the radiator is not currently attached to it. Cant say for sure that my radiator is original but I think it is. Ive had the tractor since 1989.

Well I was just wondering if anyone had information about it. I see Dennis C. lists a new one for $270 + $15 shipping. I'm gonna have to fill my stock tank and put a little pressure to the Rad. and see what there is to see.

Is your Radiator in good shape ?

My radiator is in fair shape. Lots of dented fins, but no leaks. Water flows through it quite well, but Im still going to take it to a radiator shop for a good cleaning and test.
