8N Lift problem

Just bought another old tractor. This time a 1951 8N I just retired so i need something to work on this tractor runs perfect hydraulics work great without a load. But when i put my Flexo Hitch Disc on it it lifts about 3/4 way perfect then starts to labor and slows down. I just finished rebuilding the pump and the same thing happend. This time it was slow and it started nocking. I did adjust the cover Draft works great Position has the problem. cant afford more parts or fluid im on a budget now. i did check the pin that always is bad very little wear on it. Help !

Did you do the Leak Test before and after? Did you install a new cylinder (NOT reused) with the NAA piston and O-Ring? Safety Relief valve new? Cam Follower pin new? Control Rod installed correctly? A Flex-O-Hitch disc may be too heavy for an N-Series. Is it more than 6'? There are adjustments you can make - get out your OEM Owner's/Operator's Manual and your I&T FO-4 Manual. Do the leak down test first.

changed cylinder to a jub I shortened my Flexo to 6ft My Jubilee handles it perfect and they both can lift 800 lbs. New Pressure Relief valve. Im going to drain the fluid and check that the control rod is pushing the control valve all the way in.

Fixed: The 5/16 x 7/8 pin was in good shape but i made a new one. The main problem was the lift ram arm. the pin over 70 years wore it down about a 1/8 inch. I welded it back and made a few bushings and added some washers to the linkage and it works like a new one now!
