3000 radius rod

I just picked up a couple radius rods for a 3000 I am restoring, the seller said they were off of a 3000 but they are one and a half inches shorter than the ones that were on mine. Front is off engine removed so I don't have a reference. Does anyone know correct length?

I could measure the ones on my 1974 but I don't know if they
were the same on the earlier models. I assume they were?

They are not all the same.
Ford changed the way you adjust the setting of the width (track) of your front tires.
Maybe 1973 or so.
Old style the radius rod hooked to the axle center. New style they hook to the knee.

Newer ones are longer.

That's interesting that they would go back to the 9N/2N style
mounting after changing them away from the knee for so long.

Just a theory of mine...
Maybe they went to the 8N style in 48 to
avoid more patent infringement legal
hassles?
I know they ran the same style till about
73 - maybe when the patents ran out?
I think the 9/2N style is simpler to move
as you can remove 2 bolts and swing the
track wider. 8N style you have to remove
the 2 bolts AND change the location of the
yoke.
My Johney Cash 3000 (one piece at a time)
has old style RRs and center axle and new
style knees. They bolted on with no issues.
