I'm trying to figure out the serial number on a 3 cylinder ford engine so I can order parts. the number is G372284. The bore is 4.4. so I'm assuming 201 cu in. The confusing part is the G. Ray

The letter at the beginning of the engine serial number generally indicates which series of tractors it was made for, but the models whose designators started with a G were all 6 cylinder models. (8XXX, TW10, TW5).

Are you sure it's not a C? If it is a C then a 4.4 bore would likely make it a 192 ci, but you would need to measure the stroke to be sure.
