I have a newly acquired Ford 4000 with a 4 speed transmission and a Sherman 3 speed. I believe it is a 1964 model. The serial number is: 4110 I-S 46512
What else does this serial no. mean?

The model # is 41101-S 4000 all purpose 4 speed with a Sherman, a 3 point and a 540 PTO..

The serial # is 46512 which I believe was a 1963 SN.

Thankyou!

The model reference in my I&T FO-20
decodes the number a little different than
what Larry said:

41101-S:

4 : 4000 series with 172 cu in engine

1 : Produced 1963 or later

10 : High clearance agricultural row crop,
with single or dual tricycle front wheels
or wide adjustable front axle

1 : Four speed transmission with PTO

S : Sherman auxiliary transmission.

46512 is a 1964
