Well, I cobbed up the original rod end ball joint on the left side of my 58 861 Powermaster while taking off the old cylinder. See the pic. I was able to get the original rod end back on the new power steering cylinder after I found out the replacement rod end I bought was not log enough to go through and be bolted. As I look for a replacement rod end ball joint here at YT I see the one I need is not available. I would be very grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of one I can purchase. The old one is unable to be fully bolted down due to my hitting it out with a mallet a bit too hard and cobbing up the threads. Thanks for all the help Ive gotten here !

Yes.
Take a flat file and file the od of the threads back to size. Then get a 3 cornered file and carefully file each thread back into shape - following the pitch as you go around the threads.
Take your time and don't over do it.
You will be surprised how you can re cut even a badly mangled set of threads that way.
They do make a thread file with different pitches of threads but I've never found those to be as effective as a 3 cornered file and a bit of patience.
